Just two years after its founding, the Center for Heart and Vascular Care at Kaiser Sunnyside Medical Center earned the highest possible rating from the Society of Thoracic Surgeons based on performance data for heart bypass surgery.*

The Society of Thoracic Surgeons is a nonprofit organization that represents some 6,400 surgeons, researchers and allied health professionals worldwide. It's an elite group that bases its ratings on more than 4.5 million surgical records. They know what it takes to help their patients get healthy, happy and active again.

The Center for Heart and Vascular Care at Kaiser Sunnyside Medical Center isn't just new, it's the only heart center in Clackamas County. It also currently has the only certified advanced heart failure/transplant cardiologist in all of Oregon. The highest-quality care available should be close to home.

We accommodate overnight visits, prepare specialized meals, and even provide little extras like a personalized pillow. We also work with families to help prepare their homes to help get patients back to healthy living.
