John Lee, MD
Site Leader - Camp Springs and Marlow Heights
District of Columbia and Suburban Maryland Service Area
DR. JOHN LEE attended the University of Michigan and graduated with a degree in biology and a love for college football. He moved back home for medical studies, and at the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine, developed a renewed appreciation for Bearcat basketball, highlighted by an exciting trip to the Sweet 16.
Missing the diversity of college days, he sought to train away from the Midwest and chose the Washington, D.C., area where he completed his residency at Washington Hospital Center.
Dr. Lee joined Mid-Atlantic Permanente Medical Group, P.C., in December 2002 (after taking six months off as a newlywed) as an internist at the Kaiser Permanente Camp Springs Medical Center.
Since then, he has enjoyed opportunities to serve in leadership roles on teams and in medical centers. He is currently associate physician in charge for quality. In his free time, he enjoys playing with his daughter and enjoys most sports, especially golf.
How He Thrives:
"I enjoy playing golf very much. I really love the nature and enjoy just getting away."
